The concept of database management

The word data is a Latin word.  Datum's plural Datum means data (an item of information).  Data is input into a computer to convert information into feedback.  The computer converts information into data such as their name, surname, code, basic salary, etc. to create payroll for the employees of an organization.  Data translates into computer language or machine code that makes it easy to understand in different languages.

 

Database: The word database means.  The term data and base base means a database is a collection of one or more interconnected tables or files.  An organization's entire data is stored in that organization's database. Currently the database may contain one or more data table query report micro etc. files.  That is, a collection of one or more files containing database data that can be easily used, presented and updated.


There is a lot of information or data around us: It is scattered, but the collection of all this information can not be called a database.  The reason is that all the data or information which is related to each other such as the information of the voters stored in the voter list can be stored in the personal file records of the employees of a company.  Data Presentation Production Presentation Human Resource Management Telecommunication Scientific Research Education etc. Used for many databases are called databank.



 Advantages of using database:



 The advantages of using the database are mentioned below: -


 1. Reduces data duplication.

 2. A very fast data can be presented and managed.

 3. Data can be updated.

 4. Their data theories require editing and sorting of descending order.

 5. Data can be formatted in a short time.

 6. Data records can be easily found.


 Types of Databases: -


 According to the structure, the database is mainly divided into two parts.


 E.g.-


 1.General database.

 2. Relational database.
